Details: Born in the Bronx, New York “Polo The Fur King” is a dominant trend-setter. He has single-handedly built three companies from the ground up. Polo is the CEO/Founder of Exclusive Fashion and Furs and Dessalines Clothing The Private Collection, and most recent, Land Monster Clothing.Over a 17 year span, Polo or his designs have graced the pages and front covers of some of the most influential print and online magazines. In 2008, his designs laced the pages of Dime Piece Magazine modeled by the beautiful Mileena Hayes, with very well-known Hip Hop artist and actor Ice T’s wife CoCo on the front cover (www.dimepiecemagazine.net). In 2009 Polo and his designs also appeared in E2K Magazine for its’ designer spotlight’ segment (www.e2kmagazineonline.com). He has also been featured in magazines such as Mixture (www.mixture.com), 5 Star Magazine, as well as gracing the front cover of Against the Grain Magazine, HFL Magazine, and Take Over Magazine. Polo happens to be one of the only fashion designers to have 10 front covers.In addition to appearing in these publications himself, Polo has also been enormously instrumental in getting A and B list celebrities either inside or on the front cover of magazines as well. In 2010, he and his manager, Chase Million assisted with getting “Joseph Addai” running back for the Indianapolis Colts NFL team, into Game Sports Magazine (www.gamesportsmag.com). He was able to have “Johnnie Castellanos“, super star rapper Jay Z’s barber, placed on the front cover of Against The Grain Magazine in 2010, “Nicole Lyons” the first African American female to race in NASCAR, on the front cover of Hustler For Life Magazine in 2011, R&B singer “Carl Thomas”, formerly of Bad Boy, into the July/August 2011 issue of AMN Magazine (www.amethystmusicnews.com), celebrity tailor and custom designer “Al Hassan” in Hustler For Life Magazine with Nicole Lyons on the front cover in 2011, Vice President of Maybach Music, “Getar K” on the front cover of the Nov/Dec 2012 issue of Hustler For Life Magazine (www.k4sent.com), and most recent, celebrity photographer “Felix Natal Jr.” on the front cover of Hustler For Life Magazine, and “Sycamore Santos”, known for the Wallabe Clark Shoes for Wu Tang Clan, in the fashion segment of AMN Magazine, with Donnell Jones on the front cover.Polo The Fur King launched his own magazine in March 2013, called “Bosses That Meet Bosses”, a fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment magazine with a focus on highlighting those individuals he believes are goal driven, entrepreneurs that deserve the spotlight. In addition, he has also had the opportunity to design three snakeskin sneakers for Ostrichmarketing.com.Along with those accomplishments, Polo has also been the stylist and designer for music video projects, such as, R&B artist “Mass Pike Miles” videos for Love Come Down, and Shattered Pictures, “Torch” signed to Maybach Music, video for Slow Down, and Uptown, featuring “Jim Jones”, and most popular rapper in Boston, “Smoke Bulga” video for Money On My Mind featuring Jim Jones, as well as Smoke’s most recent project called “Donn Lennon”. Polo, alongside his manager Chase Million, also styled the members of the R&B group Metro City and accompanied them on a three city tourheadlined by Keisha Cole. 2015 has just begun, and Polo has already designed and styled the members of the R&B group Hi-Five, for their newest video for the single entitled “Different Kiss” and MOP featuring Maino, for their video called “Welcome To Brooklyn”. All of which can be seen on MTV and World Star Hip Hop.Currently, Polo is working on an autobiographical documentary called “A day in the life of a fashion mogul”, and with the launch of his newest clothing line Land Monster Clothing, he has added, Shi Lewis, writer/model/artist, to his team as “The First Lady” of Exclusive Fashion and Furs and Land Monster Clothing. As if that isn’t enough, Polo has now added actor, Vinicius Machado to his roster. He styled Vinicius for several appearances, and movies, and is now doing PR work for him and his lovely wife Luz Machado.
