Details: Sometimes, music gets the best out of you and even the devil surrenders. Gloss Gang knows it all well. The group, which is currently on cloud nine with their successful project, did go through a rough patch, experiencing the consequences of unrestrained freedom when growing up in Brower Park.

A passion for the music bound them together ‘forever’, but not until they realized the need to get organized if they had to have a future in the field. The ‘unorganized’ bunch, who just knew to rap started their group and named it ‘007’, changing it later to the ‘Bower Gang’.

Age has a curse and sometimes the later part of teenage is the most dangerous. That is what happened to the talented bunch experienced a lost when 14 of their friends were indicted.

This is when they realized that they had been living a life that could have been much better, given their talent, if directed in the right direction. They started reinventing themselves. Their lives needed restoration. Their inner beliefs needed to be shunned. They had to become better individuals. And their branding needed a rejig.

They decided on Gloss - ‘floss was not cool, and jewellery was glossy’ - thus the name. They reversed 007 and retained Gang. ‘700 Gloss Gang’ was born with an reinspired bunch of youngsters who were staring at a wide world with whom they wanted to share their little world.

But there was more to be done. The collective soon started putting their focus towards music in a methodical manner. They got experienced neighborhood friends like Sheriff Pj and Maffyuu of Phony Ppl who began to help and oversee the group.

Sheriff took care of videos and management while Maffyuu was in-charge of production.
Soon, the result was the EP ‘Money.Brower.Respect’, which had Gloss Gang members as well as members from the 700 umbrella known as ‘RTO world’ (Young Pook and Kerm) with co-signs from big names like Plain Pat, Miss Info, Lil Debbie, RL Grime and more. With songs ‘She Only Love Me When It's Lit’, ‘Feelin Good’, and ‘Money.Brower.Respect’, Gloss Gang proved to the world that if there is latent talent within and grit to overcome odds and live life in the most amicable way possible, the way is laid already. One just has to have the strength the tread on it.
