TV Artist Spotlight R&B Singer  Ricardo Abercrombie - Ease My Mind

Cool, calm, and collected but most importantly ready is Ricardo Abercrombie.  This singer/songwriter is making his rounds gravitating to music lovers and execs.  This new Indie Artist is finally at the point in his life where he’s experienced enough to know where he’s headed because of where he’s been.   A southern heart mixed with a New York state of mind, Abercrombie is equipped with both fresh and new sounds blended with an old soul of music.  He says he’s thankful for his southern upbringing in Columbia, South Carolina.  However, he is blessed to have also been raised by the hustle of New York which taught him survival and gave him clarity. Where does it start?  With Ricardo, it all starts from vision and then conquering, he says.   Before achieving one must survey, plan, and take action.  Determined, he took immediate action at 20 years old making an impulsive move from South Carolina to New York City.  One step on faith and one Giant leap on crazy, explains Ricardo.  Unwillingly, with only $3000 in his bank account Ricardo was eager to survive in the concrete jungle too make his dreams came true. Over the years of trial and error, Ricardo is certain that music is his calling. He proclaims that no matter what was going on with him or what situation he was in, music was always in the background.Ricardo’s works include his first EP album titled “Imagine That” that was released in Japan of February 2014.  Following up the success of his first EP is the Sophomore EP album titled “For You” that will be released here in the states before debuting in Japan.  Back into the mix with UrbanSoul Music Group this new EP will feature 8 songs.  “For You” is straight through listen with R&B, Hip Hop, and Jazz sensations. Ricardo Abercrombie has gone from open mic at the Nuyorican Poets Café, Apollo, Roseland, and more grazing the stage.  He’s also had the opportunity of sharing the stage with R&B recording artists such as Chrisette Michele and Bobby Valentino.  In the coming future, you can find Ricardo performing around NYC promoting “For You” and in a city near you.
