Imani Raychelle Victoria Patterson is a dedicated and passionate vocal artist, dancer, model, actress, and host. Queens, NY born, Imani Ray currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She comes from a legacy of Caribbean entertainers. Her great-grandfather, Stephen Solomon, was a renowned Trinidad & Tobago Calypso Artist. Imani is very proud of her Caribbean lineage and passionate about Soca music in particular. Imani Ray is the consummate performer. Her high-energy performances have captivated crowds at the following venues: 2014 Atlanta Carnival, Caribbean Association of Georgia, 6th Annual Atlanta Caribbean Cultural Festival (performing for 3rd consecutive year). Ducking Featuring Fadda Fox; Soca Groove (opened for Ricardo Drue and Hypasounds); The 4th Annual US-Africa International Business Forum/Dinner; and Sinfo-Nia Youth Orchestra 25th Silver Anniversary Concert.
Her 2014 debut release Breakaway captured the attention of the Soca world for the budding artist. Can’t Hold Me, her latest release, is an emphatic statement that she will be a force to be reckoned within the Caribbean music industry, as this Soca Rose is clearly in bloom.
