SPINS is the new exciting show on FRP TV presented by Franchise Record Pool to showcase DJ worldwide. SPINS give DJs the exposure they need by performing LIVE for the world to see from the comfort of their home studios. Via FRP TV's pic in pic feature the DJs are interviewed and allowed to perform LIVE.
On This episode of SPINS we have Dawg E. Slaughter, DJ Kool KGee and the return of DJ Flawless.
Derek Francis Pereira, known to his fans as Dawg E. Slaughter, began singing at the young age of 7. Between singing in the school choir and living across from the Pamberi pan yard in San Juan, he was immersed in music from the beginning of his life.Slaughter had one of his first breaks at Youth Fest, performing a Super Cat song at the then popular BASE. He was a total hit. Ken Marlon Charles (“KMC”) was the first to acknowledge his talent and voice Dawg E Slaughter on the Pitbull Riddim and the Voodoo Riddim shortly after.In 2002, while deejaying under his sound X-caliber in Barbados, a producer named Peter Coppin voiced him on the tune that would make him famous, Tic Toc. Slaughter had hit after hit such as “Trample”, “Carnival I Love You”, “We Doh Play”, “Pokey”, “Up In Dat”, “Soca In My Veins” (Spread The Love), to name a few. He also penned "Cry For Peace" for calypso legend "Singing Sandra".After years in the spotlight and pleasing the people, in 2009 he moved on to other things. Family life and touring under his DJ Sound X-Caliber took precedence. Slaughter took time to travel and learn different cultures; he eventually went back to school at the University of Trinidad & Tobago. Immediately after graduating he immersed himself in producing music. Slaughter is stepping back into the ring for the Carnival 2016 season both as an artist and producing riddims for his fellow artistes, such as the Heart Break Riddim, RR Rhythm, and the Grinders Riddim which he is featured on with his comeback track “Fete Anthem”.His RR Rhythm has become the Riddim of Carnival 2016 and he was crowned as the very First International Soca DJ World Champion in Trinidad in January 2016.

Robert Caines J.R. (Born January 23, 1983) professionally known as Dj Flawless, is an deejay that deliberate on the antiquities music has to offer. Accepting the countless of mentoring from some of the greatest an inspiring entertainers in the music industry such as Dj Steve Dee the creator of "Beat Juggling," although the original name was " The Funk." Through commercialization "Beat Juggling" as the world knows it was the greatest thing to hit deejaying, since the Scratch. Jimi Hazel the guitarist from the group 24-7 Spyz that is best known for mixing soul, funk, reggae, and R&B with heavy metal and punk. Dj Red Alert from 98.7 Kiss FM and Dj Rockin Rob from the group The Mean Machine. He is also the father of Dj Flawless.Flawless is an well rounded deejay from the Bronx New York whose genre bending approach draws from a range of characteristics, from R&B , Hip Hop, Rock, Latin, Pop, Dance/Club, Soul, Funk,.He has dedicated hours of practice perfecting the craft of mixing, blending, scratching, and developing DJ battle routines. With much hard work he upgraded from his room to Private Parties, Night Clubs, Dj Battles and more.Flawless is one of the deejays who conveys on promptness and a humility blend to the audience. Being flawless and artful led him to winning first place in the 36th Annual Zulu Nation Anniversary DJ Battle in New York City in 2009. Also in the same year did the Queens Bridge City Park Foundation Concert with Nas, Mr. Cheeks from the Lost Boyz, Dj HotDay, Dj Hollywood, Dj Love Bug Starski and flawless father Dj Rockin Rob. Flawless also was the motivator with Dj Rockin Rob through music for the 2006, 2007, 2008 New York City Marathon. Another great high light for him was when he pro formed at BB Kings in New York City Times Square in 2010 with Dj Steve Dee and Grand Wizard Theodore. Dj Flawless is a man whose dexterity talent will FLAWLESSLY take him to higher heights within the music industry for years to come.
