Details: Bill Foster’s promotional resume spans three decades and iscomprised of a plethora of successful events. It began when Bill decided to joinPosh Productions. While promoting “Terranova”, he met legendary promoters MariaDavis (Industry Parties) and Stan Dennis (Jones Beach Greek Festival). Afterwatching Maria and Stan promote diverse successful events, Bill developed aninterest for promoting.In the early 90’s, Bill teamed up with Kenny Dinkins to formhis first promotion company, “Nubian Gold”. The Pulse was the primary venue wherethey promoted “Throwback Thursdays”. It was during this time that Bill wasintroduced to legendary promoters Dee Williams (Sparkle Entertainment) and SteveG, who shared with him their knowledge of the promotion business.In 1993, Bill decided to go solo and created 4Star, aderivative of his name, with the late Cliff Nall of Trend Graphics. Bill wouldlater team up with Mike Eddy, and promote city employee-themed parties thataveraged well over a thousand people. Their success catapulted them to eli tepromoter status. After a 14-year span together, Bill started “NetworkingWednesdays” and “Civil Servant Thursdays” at One Fish Two Fish, and is thefirst promoter to introduce the “Thursday After Work” theme.Bill started a comedy series in new rock city and workedwith notable funny men Capone and Rob Stapleton. Additionally, Bill is instrumentalin the success of DJ Mell Starr, and also served as manager for fellow DJs LadyD Wells, Howie D and Umoja. Later, Bill teamed up with Lenny Green to promotealbum release and birthday parties for several celebrities including Babyface,Jeffrey Osborne and Brian McKnight.
