About Jamal
Jamal Anderson, CEO and founder of Official Clock Huggerz, was born and raised on the gritty streets of the south Bronx. Like many youth in the area, he was enticed by the allure of the street life, and soon was hanging on corners and selling drugs. After being convicted and serving a few years for petty crimes he was determined to return to his neighborhood and become a productive citizen. In order to avoid the same pitfalls, he knew he had to get off the corners and get a job. Jamal knew that if he and his friends could employ the same skills they used in being successful at selling drugs, they could be successful in the legal business world. And so in 2008 he founded O.C.H. Official Clock Huggerz. With "I used to hug the block, now I punch a clock" as the official tag line, Jamal targeted all those he knew that had grown into men on those street corners and were now holding down jobs to take are of their families. O.C.H. Is now available on the World Wide Web and in several clothing stores.
