Emerging from the firm tutelage of his parents, Trevone Perry was introduced to music at a tender young age. Trevone Perry embodies an unquenchable thirst for God and uses his passion to display his worship through the sound of music. With the influence of his musically inclined family, Trevone established his own music ministry stemming from his extensive background as a rapid emerging songwriter and choir director under the order and entrapment of God in 2007. Trevone birthed the quintessence of gifted and talented singers and musicians now nationally known as Trevone Perry and Divine Purpose.
This soulful serenade of singers have collaborated and shared the stage with some of the gospel music industry’s most revered and established artists, including the likes of gospel phenomenon Hezekiah Walker, Dr. Kevin Bonds, Tye Tribbet, Erica Campbell, Donnie McClurkin, Tamar Braxton and Tank. In 2013, Trevone Perry and Divine Purpose released their debut single “So Glad To Be Alive” which is still in rotation on New York City’s very own 1190 WLIB. In 2014, Trevone Perry and Divine Purpose were cordially invited to perform and share their extraordinary talent on the 1190 WLIB’s stage at the Circle of Sisters Expo hosted by Liz Black at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Moreover, Trevone Perry and Divine Purpose had the pleasure of performing during the Pre-Shows and After Parties throughout the 2015 Stellar Award Weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Trevone Perry is also a longtime member and assistant choir director of the Stellar Award nominated choir “The Voices of Citadel”. Continuing to fulfill his purpose, Trevone is excited to have embarked on the release and growing success of his long anticipated EP and video, “Hands-Up”. Their musical movement has become a social media phenomenon which has taken the “#TeamDP” to another level. Advancing the purpose that God has for Trevone Perry and Divine Purpose, he has welcomed entrepreneurship and is launching the #TeamDP clothing and paraphernalia line. Trevone Perry is taking the limits off of God by sharing and promoting purpose in Christ and the Kingdom of God
