2005 - 2009: Toured with Funk Master Flex Custom Car Show Tour. Opened up for artist such as Diddy, Jermaine Dupri, Bun B, Dip Set, Swizz Beatz, Busta Rhymes, Ray J, Ginuwine, list goes on.
2009/10: Released Mixtape hosted by Power 105.1FM DJ Self. Also had a record in rotation on Power 105.1FM titled "Badd Gurl".
2011 - 14: Released 4 Mixtapes you can find all on www.kleankeem.com and DatPiff.com. Also done a lot of traveling (Tennessee, Atlanta, North Carolina, South Carolina, PA, Denver, Miami, etc) doing shows, collars, building super fans.
2015: Opening act for Fabolous and Rick Ross at Santander Arena. 4k+ in attendance. Released a few singles. Music videos. Doing shows, etc.
2016: Just release an Album Feb. 8th which features a few known Atlanta producers and artists. As well as Rocafella Record legends. Recently released a single and music video titled "Barneys". We're over 40k views on Youtube in under 2 months.
2016: I'm looking to tour post release of my L.A.M.E project. I HAVE AN AMAZING STAGE SHOW. I'm in rehearsal 4x a week. I'm also 60% done with my next "Good Burger" project which I'm looking to release on Memorial Day. I DON'T STOP WORKING!
Bio:
Shakeem “Klean Keem” Jones is a NY native. Keem grew up in a household with his mother, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Keem was the only of six children with a different biological father. Growing up, Keem knew his step-father (which to date he considers to be his dad) was one of the most highly respected hustlers in the neighborhood and his ruthless nature was seen in the home as well. Sometimes feeling like an outcast.
An escape for Keem was his first love, music. In his early years he heard mostly house music, with a blend of Hip Hop and R&B. He loved to dance with his mom while she did her routine Saturday morning cleaning. He was driven by the up beat and tempo. He was also lead singer in his church choir and travel the country singing.Keem was inspired to rap by artist such as Kool Moe D, Easy E, Ice Cube, and LL Cool J. Keem wrote his first rap in 5th grade. Consistently writing and performing for family and friends he was determined to pursue his talent. Keem’s passion to succeed pushed him to do something independent, and make his own rules. in 2003 Keem founded his company “Dub Fam Entertainment. which later became Huggin' Money Entertainment.Hard work paid off in 2004 when a friend took his mix-tape to Shurod Brown, CEO of Heaven Sent Entertainment. Brown recognized how unique, commercial, and catchy his music was which intrigued him. When Brown met Keem he loved his humility, humbleness and hunger. A partnership formed immediately. After 2 years of artist development with Brown, Ray DeJon, and Curtis aka “Fifty". It was time to showcase Keem’s talent.
From 2006 - 2010 Keem toured the country performing for the Funk Master Flex Custom Car Shows. Keem performed alongside artist such as Trey Songz, Lupe Fiasco, Busta Rhymes, and P. Diddy to name a few.Keem’s unique fashion sense attracted people to his clothing line. Currently Keem’s Huggin' Money Apparel clothing is worn by trendsetters worldwide.Keem’s goal is to be the best. His motivation is to provide for his single mother, 2 younger sisters, his now 5 yr old son Isaiah and 9 yr old stepson Aiden. Keem is currently releasing projects, performing at arenas and many other big events. He's making nightclub appearances internationally. And taking the music scene by storm in his new home, Atlanta GA.
