Born in the Philippines and raised in Bay Area's San Jose, California, Glenn "DJ Pyro" Maniago first stumbled across DJing during his early years of high school. The art form quickly caught his interest after being inspired by various talented DJs who came straight out of Northern Cali like Mix Master Mike and the legendary DJ Qbert who were pioneers of turntablism in the early 90s. In 1998, the self-taught DJ picked up his first set of turntables and the rest was history.A few years later, DJ Pyro, along with a few other childhood friends that included DJ Peanut, DJ Jeff, Pencil Wednesday and DJ Trens, formed the DJ crew known as "The Unit." Rockin' house parties in different parts of the Bay Area, this young group of DJs slowly began to gain a following of party goers and soon expanded to a full promotion/DJ group known as “EP” (Emphatic Productions). At such a young age, from local high schools to various clubs and bars in downtown San Jose, they moved crowds and filled dance floors all across the Bay Area.When his high school years came to an end, DJ Pyro decided to take a hiatus from the DJing world to pursue higher education in Los Angeles where he obtained his bachelor’s degree. Along the way, he met Jason "DJ J.Biz" Basallo who later becomes his good friend and business partner. Pyro, being somewhat of a mentor/teacher to J.Biz, helped him reconnect with his DJ roots once again, eventually motivating him to pick up from where he left off.Throughout the years, DJ Pyro’s style of DJing has evolved; by mixing his roots of hip hop music and turntablism with his newfound appreciation of different styles of electronic music, Pyro has achieved his own unique and creative sound. He's quickly adapted to the new Video DJ realm, expanded his repertoire and continues aspiring to improve his art, advancing with technology and truly becoming known as a prolific DJ to be reckoned with. After coming a long way from his modest beginnings, DJ Pyro can be found DJing all over Los Angeles, Las Vegas and the Bay Area, where individuals are able to experience firsthand his energy, passion on stage and ability to move crowds with his music.
Comedian & Ventriloquist Nigel Dunkley aka Docta Gel has been performing comedy for professionally for the past five years. Picking up the classic art of ventriloquism 10 years ago, Nigel honed his talent in church and frequently on the New York City streets and subways. Best known for performing on a subway in a youtube viral video that has garnered over 4 million views. Since then Docta Gel has become favorite at senior centers, children parties, and local comedy shows. He has had the opportunity to share the stage with professional stand up comedians such as Hamburger and Brooklyn Mike. Nigel looks forward to taking his puppet show 'GELTOWN' starring Cindy Hot Chocolate to the next level and continue to make people laugh out loud.
