Details: p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #454545}Nina lost over 140lbs naturally regardless of her PCOS diagnosis, without surgery, pills, fad diets, gimmicks or teas after a gastric bypass consultation she never went through with scared her straight and changed her life and perspective on fitness and weight loss. Now a Personal Trainer, lifestyle change coach and Partner at NNOWW Fitness (Exclusive Personal Training Fitness Studio in Queens NYC) Nina started her journey while in school obtaining her masters degree at st johns university in the counseling field. Prior to pursuing fitness she was a counselor, therapist and case manager working with runaway/at-risk teens and family's in crisis for over 7 years. She documented her entire weight loss journey on Instagram (PoloPrincessNYC) and soon after losing the weight had over 18,000 followers, was featured in the daily news, on rachel ray, dr oz and various online motivational articles.  After countless people reached out to her for motivation, inspiration, direction and help losing weight, Nina had an another inspirational moment. Nina realized our entire weight loss system was flawed - promoting "fast" & "easy" weight loss results that "anyone" can do  in "no time" promoted by models who live anything BUT that lifestyle. Fitness models who are either surgically altered or work out hours a day and usually eat great with excellent genetics. All exploiting the average overweight and obese persons insecurities... "I'm fat, ugly and lazy and it's all my fault" when in reality Nina realized the system is flawed and set up against us. Nina believes weight loss is actually really simple. Not easy. Not fast. Not accomplished in less than 20 min a day. But it is simple. Eat Clean. Do your cardio every day and lift a couple of times a week. After this realization Nina decided with her personal trainer at the time, Nkem Oweazim, to give all of these people a place to call home and a program that would work forever and focused on education and a permanent lifestyle change, not dreams of fast easy weight loss that doesn't work and leaves them feeling bad about themselves. They called this home NNOWW Fitness (Nkem and Nina's Overall Weight loss and Wellness). She has unique perspective on weight loss, believing anyone can be successful if they give it their all and eliminate all excuses but also an empathetic nature which is what compelled her to be a counselor in the first place. With Her experience and success in the counseling field, brief solution focused therapy and crisis intervention specifically, combined with her own weight loss experience and additional training, now holding a certification in both personal training and sports nutrition, she is really set apart from others in the fitness industry.  Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions or comments.Articles and Video ClipsJanuary 8th, 2015 Daily News Interview and Articlehttp://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/health/daily-news-readers-share-inspiring-weight-loss-stories-article-1.2069557May 10th 2016 - Dr Oz Appearance:I lost half my body weight and you can too!!
