Details: Early New York rapper born March 9th in the Bronx. T-Ski began his musical career at the age of fourteen. Born in the northeast Bronx in an area called the Valley, T-Ski attended Michelangelo J.H.S., I.S.144 where he played guitar. He graduated and went on to Evander Childs H.S. where he and a buddy (Disco Prince) formed a group called the Erotic Disco Brothers. In 1978 Tski joined Kool Herc as an M.C. (Fly Force). Later that year T-Ski joined up with A.J. & Busy Bee as a D.J. After high school, he went to work with reggae producers Brad Osborne of Clocktower Records and Clement "Coxsone" Dodd(Studio One Records) in launching Grand Groove Records. After his first release was “Catch The Beat,” T-Ski went on to produce groups including Just Four and Chapter III

His real name is Tyrone and he explains: " T is for Tyrone. S for Sensation, K is for Koolest in the Nation, I is for Inspiration. Valley is where I came from [the Valley in the Bronx]."
