Soyini Fraser is a 26 year old Guyanese Beauty Ambassador who is currently in the running for the Miss Universe 2016 crown and title. She can be described as a strong, determined, radiant and fierce individual. This beauty was born into a simple family and raised in the "Garden City" of Georgetown, Guyana where she was given a firm foundation in family values, academics and extracurricular activities. This foundation has led Soyini to be a successful dancer, Television Vision Hostess, an aspiring Christian Child-Psychologist and role model.She has acquired her associate degree in Theology form the Life Christian University as her first step towards becoming a Christian Child-Psychologist.From childhood Soyini has been drawn to music and the arts, dancing from a tender age and was a member of the Steel Pan Orchestra from First to Sixth Form at Queen’s College, playing her beloved base pans. Today, Soyini keeps active as a senior company member at The Classique Dance Company of Guyana, as they travel the length and breadth of Guyana and North America hosting dance shows. This beauty is presently the Public Relations Officer for Hits & Jams Entertainment Inc. which includes, HJ Television and Radio Stations and HJ Water World. Soyini is the Outreach Coordinator for the "Keem Foundation" which is run by her company to supply gifts to children during the holiday season along with school and other supplies to underprivileged households. In addition, for the last three years, she has an active role in her family’s foundation, “Lady Fraser Foundation for Empowerment”going into the impoverished areas of Guyana and with food and other supplies, lending a helping hand to families. She is currently in the process of forming the “Miss Universe Guyana Mentor-ship Foundation”, under the leadership of Soyini, was launched with the aim of helping young persons in depressed areas have access to training in etiquette and other basic life principles which will assist to develop self esteem and values so they can become productive citizens. In the pageant arena Miss Fraser has won several titles for herself including Miss Earth Guyana in 2010, Miss Guyana Princess of the World 2011, Miss Guyana United Nations 2012, Miss Jamzone Guyana 2014, Miss Jamzone International 2014 and of course Miss Universe Guyana 2016. She has been travelling the world representing Guyana on the international stage over the last six years. Participation in these competitions has given Soyini the platform she needed to touch on the many social issues plaguing Guyana. Her career as a Beauty Ambassador has placed her in the right position to be an advocate for the less fortunate children and elderly in her community. Miss Fraser is also a well known media personality and was the Co-Executive Producer of her own Television show, "In Da Zone" where she touched on the hottest activities in the social arena in Guyana in 2015. She is a Co-Producer on a fresh "hip" Television series called "The Sisterhood." These shows have given the public a chance to see her in a much lighter setting while providing an opportunity for Soyini to give sound advice on many social issues facing youths, especially young women. The sound Christian morals and Educational background which her parents instilled in her, has caused Soyini to become a well rounded individual, who uses that foundation in her life as the vehicles to success.
