Details: Kareem Hayes found his passion for writing and story telling at the early age of 11. As a child he excelled in every aspect of creative expression from art, dance to writing and acting. To consider Kareem a writer is flattering and truthful. However Kareem is more of a all around creator an motivator. Kareem was born in Harlem but grew up through out NYC. His life journey was a rough one. From growing up in a dysfunctional house hold where drug abuse and domestic violence was a constant reality. It's not to say that his childhood was all bad his father taught him discipline, structure while his mother showed him triumph with her ability to quit drugs. In the interim Kareem spent a lot of his child hood in juvenile detention centers and foster care. At the age of 14 he discovered the nation of gods and earths this fueled his quest for purpose and spirituality. Generally he is a self proclaimed "Geeky Thug". As a teen he was a enigma to say the least. To nerdy for street kids and to street for the nerds but able to blend in both crowds. On the streets of Harlem he earned the name Infnity for his never ending wisdom and relentless approach to any obstacle.  Even with his street endeavors he still found time to moonlight as a councilor and award winning youth producer for Harlem Children Zone community centers. The duality of his life style is ever present in his personality. Kareem and Infnity seem to constantly be at war within him. These wars took him from being homeless at 17 to the cells of Rikers island. To being shot and even being diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the age of 21. Kareem began to grow tired of his inner conflict and chose to work at rebuilding the same community he worked to destroy. Together with his life long friend and mentor Laura Vural he developed art based curriculums for young teens to inspire social change. He also change his street name from INFNITY to I.N.F a acronym for Iam Now & Forever. It represents the constant presence of God in all things being infinite. Now known as INF the Author He works as a community activist, painter, designer and self published author.
