Mr. Magic debuted in 1981 on WHBI-FM in New York City with the first exclusive rap radio show to be aired on a major station. Billing itself as Rap Attack, Mr. Magic's show which featured Marley Marl as the DJ and Tyrone "Fly Ty" Williams as the show's co-producer. Mr. Magic moved to WBLS-FM in July 1982 and the rest is history. Glamorous (born JoAnn Berry July 19, 1967) Resided in Freeport, NY. Long Island's. She is one of the first female emcees to hit vinyl in the mid 80's. Glamorous was a very interesting artist from the very beginning. She is the cousin of the world renowned Chuck Berry. She has performed with paramount talents such as Kool G Rap, Polo, Biz Markie, Roxanne Shante, MC Shan, Big Daddy Kane, Craig G, T J Swan, Debbie Dee, Masta Ace, Grand Daddy IU and a host of others. Glamorous also work with various producers such as Nile Rodgers, Hollywood, and Tony D. Glamorous wasn’t only an Artist at Cold Chillin Record Label, she was a Cold Chillin Record Label employee.
